striped goodness

While helping a client pick wallpaper samples last week, I found myself gravitating toward and pointing out almost every striped pattern. I tend to do the same thing with fabric, as well.  Stripes make me happy – whether it’s a spool of grosgrain ribbon, a striped rug, a throw pillow or a soft, comfy tee, you simply can’t go wrong with a little striped goodness in your decor.  It’s been a crazy morning filled with nothing but computer issues, so, until I get it fixed (or, drive over my laptop and then set it on fire), here is some beautiful, striped inspiration for your Monday morning:

Perfection. There's something just so classic about stripes, isn't there? I painted my coat closet with stripes this weekend. Tedious job, but it makes me so, so happy.
