SNOW DAY

Happy February! Instead of New Year’s resolutions, I like to take the entire month of January for some down time to recuperate from the Christmas holiday and my daughter’s birthday and enjoy trying some new recipes, reading lots of books and taking a break from social media and online, instead. We have welcomed February with some much hoped-for snow and a few snow days and the house is so bright and cheerful with all the white outside our windows, that I thought it was too pretty not to share some snaps around the home. I wish you could smell the browned butter chocolate chip cookies we currently have in the oven for the full effect! (They really are the best recipe we have tried!) Hope you’re all staying warm and cozy in this wintery weather!
