SMALL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: A NANTUCKET SUMMER
One of my favorite things about blogging and social media is that I’m always coming across quite a few incredible small businesses and boutiques with some of the most beautiful products, so I thought it would be a great idea to highlight some of my favorites here on the blog to share with you all!
I couldn’t be more thrilled to debut this new series with one of my personal favorites, who also happen to be dear friends – A Nantucket Summer, and their chic Sketchy Bags! If you’re on Instagram, chances are you’ve already seen some of their ethereal photos of Nantucket – especially during hydrangea season! The women-owned business, which started out as an outlet for a love of photography, art, fashion and, of course, Nantucket, has now grown into not only an Instagram sensation, but also a northeastern coastal lifestyle brand through their canvas totes that feature designs inspired by their island and are also made in the USA!
If you’ve ever been to Nantucket, you know there is a certain magic to the island that you just can’t understand unless you’ve been there. Now you can carry of piece with you wherever you go with these beautiful bags! I carried my Faraway Bag all over Nantucket while on vacation a few weeks back and it held up beautifully to the sea and sand and was roomy enough to store everything from the kids’ drink bottles, snacks (and of course, seashells), to sunscreen and even coloring books for restaurants!
The bags come in four different designs – The Faraway, The US-ACK, The Itinerary and The Cottage – and are all made of medium weight canvas with leather straps. The only downside there is to these beauties is trying to decide which one you love most!
