real estate stalking…way beyond my means

If you’ve got a penchant for stalking real estate listings entirely out of the realm of possibly being able to afford like I do, have I got a treat for you! This 1765 stone Georgian manor in Bucks County, PA, lives more like an English Country manor rather than a home on the outskirts of Philadelphia and it can be yours for three million and change!  There is so much to love about this stunning house – the exposed stone and brick walls, wide plank pine floors, super high ceilings and the gorgeous, green 12 acres it’s situated upon, but what I love most is the mix of traditional elements mixed with more modern touches throughout the entire house.  Feast your eyes:

Crisp white trim and boxwood hedges are the perfect compliment to that gorgeous stone facade:

Love the contrast throughout the entire house – white walls, dark hardwood floors, white furnishings and oil rubbed bronze accents – and how about all that natural light?  Walls of windows and accompanying transoms are just too pretty to hide with window coverings:

Marble subway tiles, white glassfront cabinets, open shelving and a professional grade range in the kitchen, be still my heart!  The only thing that could make this space better was if there were an entire wall of windows above the sink:
