WELCOME TO THE NEW BUNGALOW BLUE INTERIORS!
This month marks ten years since I left the world of finance to pursue a long time dream of working in interior design and I couldn’t think of a better way to mark the occasion than by hitting refresh on this old blog! After all, this is really where it all began for me and as the years have passed it has been the one constant I could turn to when I needed to clear my mind and focus on something non-mommy-related after my littles went to bed. Now that my cubs are a little bit older, I’ve been feeling the pull to get back to blogging on a more full-time basis, but I was so uninspired by how dated my blog looked. It was time for a major overhaul!
I worked with Stephanie from Pine and Pixels, who not only did an AMAZING job re-designing my website, but she was the consummate professional, extremely knowledgeable and gave me that little nudge I needed at times to look outside the box (and not just focus on aesthetics, which is what I did 99% of the time). The new design is so much more user-friendly now; all of my blog posts are categorized under Interiors, Entertaining and DIY, making it super easy to find a particular post or category.
What I think I’m most excited about is my new SHOP page, where you can find direct links to all the pieces I’m loving lately, again, organized by entertaining and interiors. This is such a huge addition to the site and makes it so easy for you guys to find direct links to everything I’ve got my eye on or even items that are similar to those in my own home!
I’m looking forward to sharing a bunch of new content and have been really working on my photography skills so I’m also excited to share some new, never-before-seen views of rooms in my home and projects I’ve been working on! If there is anything you guys would like to see more of here on the blog (house tours, designers I’m loving, before and afters, more DIY’s, etc.) be sure and leave me a comment below!
