LOVING LATELY: LOTS OF TEXTURE FOR SUMMER

Summer has already graced us with its presence here in the south, as temps have been tipping 90 degrees and humidity is off the charts, so naturally, I’m breaking out all my straw totes and rattan entertaining pieces for the occasion! When ushering in a new season, nothing accomplishes a feel for summer quite like adding some beautiful TEXTURE!!! Seagrass rugs and baskets, beautiful cane drinkware for afternoon cocktails on the screened-in porch, black and white photos of beach vacations in beautiful burl wood frames or even a handful of hydrangeas in a gorgeous, sculptural white ridged vase….a little bit of glorious texture goes a long way in creating an easy, breezy feel for the season.

Below are a few pretties that have landed on my radar, from a stunning coral mirror I’ve been eyeing for Lydia’s room to a rattan cake stand that doubles as a chic spot for corralling oils and spices next to the stovetop and a rattan and brass sconce I’m still trying to find a place for!

Cane pitcher / Burl wood picture frames / Flynn wall sconce / Ridged vase / Ivory handled serving set / Coral mirror / Rattan flatware carry / Rattan cake stand / Oversize clam shell / Wicker French urn / Raina bowls / Wicker wine cooler / Beachcomber basket

How are you guys preparing your home and table for summer?
