loving lately for lydia

It’s safe to say that Lydia’s nursery is, hands down, my favorite room in our house.  It gets the most light, is so bright and happy and in the evening when we’re reading books and winding down, her coral ceiling glows.  We spend a lot of time in here reading and playing (and picking out outfits!?), especially since the weather’s been so gray and gloomy.  So, the other day when we actually had some sun I snapped a few shots of some of the things I’m loving lately for her and her room!

I’m obsessed with all things Peter Rabbit lately – and these adorable handpainted bookends from Anthropologie are just adorable.  My mom bought them for baby girl for Christmas and I love that they are a special gift that she will one day be able to pass on to her own babies!  I actually found the exact same pair online for a little less here:

I snagged this little ceramic dish with gold edging at TJMaxx; such a pretty way to display some of our favorite hair bows (which we NEVER leave the house without).  And little miss’s feet are finally big enough to fit in the leopard smoking slippers I got her last summer:

If you follow me on Instagram (@bungalowblue) you know that Lydia (ahem….her momma) loves her denim jackets.  I bought the one below from Baby Gap last summer in three different sizes to get us through at least the next year and a half and I can’t wait for Spring to pair it with all of her gorgeous little dresses:

I couldn’t resist this sweet little elephant ring holder on a recent jaunt to TJMaxx:

My dad bought this adorable black and white striped teepee from Land of Nod for her for Christmas and it’s our favorite place to play!  We stick a bunch of pillows inside and read books, talk to our stuffed animals and play hide and seek with Gunner.  I love that it’s not too big so that we can move it around the house easily and I can’t wait to bring it outside this summer by the pool!

I made a super easy garland to add some bling by using a three inch round hole punch to cut circles out of gold glitter cardstock and then taping them to jute twine.  The perfect amount of sparkle:

Old Navy is killing it in the kid’s and baby clothes department! Boyfriend jeans and white Keds are some current favorites (both of which appear to be sold out!):

And this maxi dress?  I just can’t……

Lots of sweet white tops, of course.  Love the crochet top and pintuck detailing on this one:

October the Octopus was our favorite Valentine’s Day present!  A stuffed animal concept book that teaches about the months of the year.  Such a great gift idea:

And last, but not least, are these gorgeous paper pinwheels from Shop Sweet Lulu!  I bought a bunch of them for her birthday and absolutely love the colors, sizes (some are HUGE!) and different designs and they are so reasonably priced, too!  I’ll be using these over and over, for sure:
