It seems like everyone is having babies these days and while it’s super exciting, it’s also incredibly nerve wracking when the guys are deployed!  Yesterday, we had a false alarm when a friend who is expecting twin baby girls thought she was going into labor…I walked into the nursery to grab the baby bag and immediately laid eyes on the sweet painting above of the Brooklyn Bridge by Etsy artist Laura Amiss.  The colors and whimsical scene were so adorable- the Mama-to-be grew up in Manhattan and wanted to infuse a little of the Big Apple into her girls’ space.  While waiting at the hospital, I checked out the rest of the artist’s available prints and loved each and every one so much, I would have had a tough time picking just one, if I were expecting! Original paintings are on canvas and some also include hand embroidered details, but she also offers digital reproductions and smaller sizes, as well!  Here are some of my favorites:

London

Amsterdam

San Francisco

Have a wonderful weekend!
