inspired: owens + davis

If you aren’t familiar with interior design duo Becki Owens and Nicole Davis of Owens + Davis, you need to check out their portfolio, blog and Instagram immediately!  I used to follow Davis back when she penned the blog Me Oh My Mama and I’m thrilled to see the magic she and co-founder Owens have created together!  While each of their spaces are equally amazing, I am absolutely, head over heels obsessed with the light, bright San Clemente beach house they recently renovated.  Inspired by the colors and natural materials surrounding the waterfront property, this house has an understated elegance, thanks to a neutral color palette, pops of watery blues and greens, white oak floors and doors, gauzy textiles and some stunning lighting fixtures.  Oh, and let’s not forget about those absolutely GORGEOUS folding doors in the dining room!  What I love most about the house is how each room flows effortlessly from one to the next – so comfy and welcoming while at the same time sophisticated and elegant.  Despite the amazing waterfront views, this house has plenty of eye candy upon which to feast your eyes:

This living room is so good.  The linen seating, soft pattern of the curtains, the lovely layers….sheer perfection:

Those doors make a stunning transition from the entry to the dining room:

Love the upholstered chairs and the pop of blue from the ikat curtains:

The tile on the fireplace surround is perfection:

Love the symmetry in the master bedroom.  Those weathered wood and mirror side tables aren’t too shabby, either:

Any guest that gets to stay in this fabulous, vintage-inspired bedroom is one lucky duck:

From the weathered oak door to the pops of turquoise, aqua and pale pink, this playroom is the stuff that little girls’ dreams are made of!

Here are my picks for getting a similar look (minus the amazing views, of course!):

Aiden accent chair / Ginger jars / Beaded ball floor lamp / la Jolla basket

Indian rings garden stool / Capiz zigzag chandelier / Subway roll sign

Valencia vanity stool / Wave on Still Water Print

Have a wonderful weekend!

I love following them on Instagram! Their spaces are so light and bright and so, so beautiful, but this house tour is by far my favorite! Love the picks you pulled together!
