home decorator’s collection

I’ve always been of the mindset that you don’t have to spend a fortune to have a beautiful home, but that doesn’t mean you’re stuck with low quality or second hand furniture, either.  Thanks to the bevy of retail and catalogue companies who have upped the ante on their goods, but kept their prices within reach, shopping on a budget has never been more affordable (or fun).  Home Decorator’s Collection has a bunch of goodies in their latest catalogue that achieve a high-end look for much less. Here are a few things that caught my eye:

This Parsons Desk comes in five different colors, but at $129, you just can’t beat the price!

I got this outdoor trellis rug for a screened-in porch I’m redecorating:

I love the tufting and antique brass nailhead trim on this chair, which bears a striking resemblance to the Martine chair by Restoration Hardware, but costs about $100 less:

This armless accent chair looks so plush and is the perfect size for creating a cozy reading nook:

Outdoor spaces are just as important as indoor spaces, and one way to bring that comfy, cozy feeling outside is with rugs.  The colors of this candy striped rug bring a fun, fresh vibe to your patio, porch or deck:

Love their version of the Tolix chair (but love the price tag even more!):
