HIS + HER SIDE

I try my best to keep clutter at bay, but with piles of schoolwork, art projects and Lego creations sprinkled throughout our living areas, our bedroom – specifically, our bedside tables – is the one place I will not compromise on messes. Phone chargers, remote controls, lotions and potions, any novel I am currently reading, etc., are all tucked neatly away in the drawers beneath to keep the tops as decluttered as possible. I like to keep it easy with lamps, a couple coffee table books to stagger height, a photo or two and a tray for loose change and my wedding rings. Simple, unfussy, but still pretty. This is a perfect spot to infuse a little personality and texture and interest; I love how these rope lamps (a favorite HomeGoods find!) add so much warmth to the black end tables and the framed sketch from a trip to Venice and a family rosary add the perfect personal touch.
