hello, gorgeous

I had the hardest time falling asleep last night, so instead, I flipped through some of my Pinterest boards looking for some outdoor inspiration and landed on the backyard of this East Hampton beauty.  You might remember I posted some of these pics last year, including my picks on “how to get the look” but I thought it would be fun to revisit it and see the equally amazing interiors.  For me, this home is quintessential Hamptons – exactly what a house in the Hamptons should look like: classic design with modern pieces, natural elements and lots of texture (hello, gorgeous grasscloth!).  Sophisticated, but not stuffy.  Chic, but super laid back.  This house is the perfect combination of all of those things and it’s no wonder I love it; it’s another fabulous project by the insanely talented Steven Gambrel. (I know you are all probably sick of me posting on his work, but as long as the man keeps pumping out these gorgeous projects, I can’t help but post them!)  Check out the loveliness:

This home just oozes charm…from the teak furniture, potted boxwoods, pergola, swimming pool and all that lush greenery:

Yes, please. Sheer backyard perfection.  It just doesn’t get much better than this:

Grasscloth walls, a slim console table and turned wood lamp are an elegant welcome in the entryway:

The laundry room is enough to make me want to move in with its mirrored cabinetry painted in Gambrel’s signature gray/blue, planked walls and ceiling, a fabulous soapstone sink and a capiz chandelier.  Seriously chic:

Neutrals reign supreme in the lovely family room:

The oversize bubble painting is not only gorgeous, but creates such a strong focal point:

The attention to detail in the kitchen is just insane.  From those gorgeous glass pendants over the island and double farmhouse sinks to the stainless vent hood, marble slab backsplash and painted beadboard-backed glass cabinets, this kitchen is truly a work of art!

Gorgeous master bath in all its marble and chrome glory:

And last, but not least, a shot of what I assume is a side or back entrance (perhaps to that gorgeous laundry/mud room?)  Love the pea gravel, zinc pots, boxwoods, topiary and lone window box.  So, SO charming!
