get the look: nautical-inspired dream nursery

Last night, Bravo aired a bunch of episodes of Giuliana and Bill from last season and I just happened to tune into last season’s finale as they revealed  the interiors of their new home in Brentwood, California. I loved everything about the house, but ESPECIALLY the absolutely gorgeous nautical-inspired nursery of their baby boy, Duke.  I am not particularly a fan of “themed” nurseries, so to speak, but I adore nautical details and this space is the perfect mix of sophisticated, glamorous and whimsical and I love how it blends seamlessly with the feel of the rest of the house. From all the beautiful shades of blue – navy to aqua to powder blue – to that divine turquoise grasscloth, octopus triptych and that fabulous monogrammed crib, this is one of my all-time favorite nurseries:

Here are my picks for creating a similar look:

Sofa Telescope floor lamp / Octopus triptych / Rope table lamp / Chevron throw

Crib Dresser Grasscloth Sailor’s knot tutorial Cast iron octopus / Grosgrain Roman Shade

Have a wonderful weekend!
