designer love: Lisa Kauffman Tharp

The only thing better than a beautiful home is a beautiful home that also happens to be environmentally-friendly with healthy, sustainable features and interior designer Lisa Kauffman Tharp is a pro at nailing both.  I stumbled upon Lisa’s blog, Concord Green, last week while searching for nontoxic paints for a kitchen table I’m refinishing, and I ended up reading each and every last one of her posts right then and there!  Her style is simple and classic, casual yet elegant with an undeniable New England vibe.  This is what I would love my own office to look like…from the wallpapered nautical charts and those gorgeous sliding barn doors, to the farmhouse table/desk and the tufted chair-so calming, I love it all!

This light, bright kitchen is amazing…love the vaulted ceilings and planked walls:

An oil painting of the sea adds a pop of color to this neutral living room:

Lanterns, barn doors and a custom-made ten-foot dining table…sigh:

Here’s another shot of the table up close:

Love these built-ins…

Beautiful wall and floor tiles:
