My idea of the perfect summer “uniform” is a well-worn, soft chambray shirt paired with a pair of white shorts, a camel bag and a simple, chunky gold watch – so laid back, casual and sophisticated. Chambray is, quite possibly, the most perfect shade of blue, and I think it looks just as fabulous in interiors as it does in your wardrobe! From pale blue grasscloth wallpaper, painted shutters and a gorgeous pale blue backsplash to a slubby linen sofa and a distressed hutch, a little chambray goes a long way, especially in summer!
