ANTIQUED HYDRANGEAS + A SIMPLE SUMMER TABLE SETTING
One of the best things about growing your own hydrangeas is that, by changing the pH of the soil, you can also change the color of your blooms from blue to pink and vice versa. Down here in the south, come late August and into September, my blue hydrangeas turn a showstopping combination of green, blue, gold and even silver – perfect for drying for the fall! We have gotten so much rain this summer that mine started their antiquing process way earlier than normal and while I do miss my bright blue blooms, we have been clipping and placing them around the house and they blend in with our color palette so beautifully! We set our table recently with a handful in a rattan vase and they were too pretty not to share. See links for similar items as I have here, at the bottom of all the photos:

French wine glasses / Similar salt + pepper shakers / Similar bamboo flatware / Similar beaded dinner plates / Chambray napkins / Similar water hyacinth placemats
