5 favorite budget-friendly etsy artists

When it comes to gifting, I always try to find something personal and unique for my friends and family members, but, it usually ends up adding more pressure to find the perfect item!  It doesn’t get much more personal than a beautiful piece of art, but finding something that won’t necessarily break your piggy bank can be a challenge.  Since trolling Etsy for great pieces is a chore unto itself, I’ve compiled five of my favorite Etsy artists here whose work is not only beautiful, but also super affordable!

Clare Elsaesser is a personal favorite of mine; I’ve posted her work a number of times before and for good reason.  I’m obsessed.  She paints the female form so beautifully, with many of her paintings taking place in the sea, which I also happen to love.  A number of her smaller paintings would look just as stunning hung en masse as a single painting featured on its own.  Oh, and she can be commissioned for custom paintings, too.  Here are a few of my favorites:

And check out some of her custom work from her Instagram, where she posts progress photos of many of her pieces; I’m DYING over the second one of the woman from behind:

United Thread is a great source for charming watercolor prints with a healthy dose of whimsy.  I’m particularly fond of her whale paintings, ever since I saw them floating around the internet a couple years ago.  She’s having a holiday sale right now – every print is 20% off! Here are some of my favorites:

Kai Samuels-Davis is a new-to-me artist whose melancholy landscape paintings and moody color palettes had me at first glance! I have to admit, I was shocked at how reasonably priced his pieces are and I love how he styles each piece for sale:

Kerri Shipp of Driftwood Interiors is a favorite for nautical-inspired watercolors.  I’ve used her delicately painted coral and sea fan prints before and not only are they gorgeous, but they come in a variety of different colors and are a beautiful compliment to any style decor:

And look how beautiful they look hung together in a series!

K Sarah Designs is a great source for botanical prints and many of hers come in larger sizes, making the perfect statement piece:

I’d love to know…which Etsy artists are your favorites?

Have you heard of Vintage Printable? I've gotten a ton of stuff for my house there. All free!
